Obituary of Frances Traylor

Frances (Fran) Traylor passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 11, 1948, Fran was a strong, loving, and selfless woman whose optimism and joyful personality inspired everyone around her. Fran had a career as a nurse for over forty years after graduating from Chestnut Hill Hospital School of Nursing in 1968 with an amazing group of women who continued to support her with unconditional love and close friendship throughout her life. She raised a family of four children in King of Prussia with her husband of 46 years, Bill Traylor, and retired from Manor Care as a Director of Nursing and then as a Case Manager in 2009. She was daughter of the late Edwin J. & Rose A. (McGovern) Steer. She is survived by her son; Morgan (& Amy) Traylor of Malvern PA, son; Nathan Traylor (& Angela) of Collegeville PA, daughter; Emily Traylor (& Mike) of Ridley Park PA, son; Brian Traylor (& Leon) of Philadelphia PA, brother; Brian Steer, and sister; Mary Jean Gillespie. Also survived by her grandchildren: Nolan, Evelyn, Clare, Graham & Cate. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Traylor in May of 2016, grandson Brendan Traylor and brother Edwin Steer. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Road, King of Prussia, Pa 19406. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street Conshohocken PA and Friday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in Fran's memory to the Mid Atlantic Blind Golf Association (MABGA), an organization that brought Fran so much happiness later in life. http://www.mabga.org/
