Harry has been living in Schwenksville, Pa for the last 4 years, formerly of Norristown, Pa where he had lived most of his life. He was a graduate of Pottsgrove High School. Harry worked as a letter carrier with Norristown Post Office for 44 years, serving Plymouth Valley and East Norriton areas. He was also former President of NALC Union Norristown Branch 542. After retiring he went to work with Spring Valley YMCA. And he also owned and operated his own maintenance service company. Harry was a member of the F. & A. M. Masonic Lodge # 620. He was an avid Philadelphia Sports fan and he enjoyed listening to country music He played softball in the 70's in Norristown & Bridgeport. Harry also voluntered and coached youth baseball including 1983 State Champion Connie Mack team from East Norriton. And he spearheaded several charitable contributions towards local Norristown churches and to MDA Skip was known and loved by all who knew him.

Harry W. "Skip" Christman, 73, of Schwenksville, PA passed away on Tuesday June 27, 2017. He was born in Pottstown, PA on November 5, 1943. Harry has been living in Schwenksville, Pa for the last 4 years, formerly of Norristown, PA where he had lived most of his life. He was a graduate of Pottsgrove High School. Harry worked as a letter carrier with Norristown Post Office for 44 years, serving Plymouth Valley and East Norriton areas. He was also former President of NALC Union Norristown Branch 542. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sisters Doris Heckman & Catherine Lee. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 10:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 8:30 to 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 225 City Avenue Suite 104, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
