George J. Haly, 81, of Harleysville, PA passed away on Wednesday February 28, 2018. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 21, 1936. George has been living in Harleysville, PA for the last year, formerly of Collegeville, PA and Blue Bell, PA. He was an active member of St. Helena's RC Church of Blue Bell, PA. George graduated from Northeast High School and he attended St. Joseph's University. He was in the Air Force Reserve for 8 years. He was a banker with Continental Bank, retiring as Vice President. Son of the late George W. & Gertrude ( Hemmerle ) Haly. Beloved husband of the late Betty (Smith) Haly. Survivors include his Daughter: Debbie (& Gary) Pletcher Royersford PA Daughter: Denise (& Tom) Gerstlauer Ambler PA And 3 Grandchildren Allison, Alex & Jenna. Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in by a sister Marion Crilley. His Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM from St. Helena RC Church, 1489 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422. Friends may call on Tuesday Morning from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the Church. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
