Obituary of Marie B. Sikorski

Marie M. (Hull) Sikorski of Lafayette Hill, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Reading hospital. She was the wife of the late John S. Sikorski, Sr. Born in Coatesville, Pa on July 9, 1916, she was a daughter of the late John and Tatianna (Mankow) Hull. Raised in Bayonne, NJ, she started her working career at Maidenform of New Jersey. After her marriage, Mrs. Sikowski left New Jersey for Pennsylvania, where she was a devoted homemaker to her loving family. In later years, she worked in and retired from the Colonial School District Food Service Department after 12 years of service. Mrs. Sikorski was a member of SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church of Bridgeport, where she was a member of the Women's Sodality of the Church. She was a member of the Philippian Society with St. Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill. She is survived by her sons, Theodore J. Sikorski, Sr., and his wife Judith of West Chester, and John S. Sikorski, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Pottstown; grandsons, Theodore J. Sikorski, MD and his wife Heather Halton MD; granddaughters, Rachel and Margot Sikorski; sisters in law, Gertrude Hull, Jean Hull, Olga Alexander, and Stella Pilecki; brother in law, Michael Sikorski. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sikorski was preceded in death by her brothers, Theodore and Michael Hull. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Divine Liturgy for Mrs. Sikorski at SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 519 Union Ave., Bridgeport on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 10:00 A.M.. Officiating will be Dr. Ronald Popivchak, Pastor. Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Church Rd, King of Prussia. Friends may call Friday from 600 to :008 P.M. at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette St., Conshohocken. There will be no viewing Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Mrs. Sikorski's name be made to: SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 5`9 Union Ave., Bridgeport, PA 19405.
