Obituary of Donald O. Lewis

Donald O. Lewis of Spring City, Pa. formerly of Wayne, Pa. died Saturday, June 28, 2013 at the Southeastern Veterans Center of Spring City, Pa. He was 82. Born in Emporium, Pa. on Nov. 23, 1930, he was a graduate of Emporium High School class of 1948 and Penn State University. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel of Windsor, Pa. He was a retired Electrical Engineer with Hewlett - Packard. Donald served in the US Navy where he received the Navy Occupation Ribbon & National Defense Service Medal. He is survived by his wife, Gail P. (Jacquot) Lewis of Wayne, Pa.; three sons, David J. (Kathleen) Lewis of Collegeville, Pa., John S. (Vicki) Lewis of Collegeville, Pa., Stephen J. (Angela) Lewis of Collegeville, Pa.; a sister, Hettie Rae Kingsbury of Rochester, N.Y.; five grandchildren, David, Jr., Brittany, Gregory, Katelyn, & Rachel; and one great-grandson, Seth. Donald is also survived by his Former Wife Gwendolyn A. (Werts) Lewis. Along with his parents, George O. and Irene (Alden) Lewis, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Lewis and George Lewis, and two sisters, Vivian McFall and Ada Johnson. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 10 A.M. from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: St. Michael the Archangel Church, 1943 Craley Road Windsor, Pa 17366.
