William Holmes Highlands passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday December 6, 2014 He was the youngest of five children He served in the British Army from 1953 to 1955 training security dogs. Following that he served an apprenticeship as a machinist and worked for Coburns and Rolls Royce He also worked machining parts for the Queen Mary He married Mary Dalton (Morrison) on February 28, 1958. In 1967 he immigrated with his wife and children to Collegeville, Pa He has lived in Schwenksville, Pa for the last year formerly of Perkiomen Twp., Pa
