He was a former member of Cedar Heights Community Church He served in the US Marines where he received the Good Conduct Medal and the Rifle Sharpshooter Medal He worked as a carpenter and Printer and had worked with Brown Brothers Printing and National Label Co.

Obituary of Timothy E. Garman, Sr.

Timothy E. Garman, Sr., 73, of Cedar Heights section of Whitemarsh Twp., PA passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016 at his home. He was born in Norristown, PA on September 29, 1942. Tim had lived in Cedar Heights, Pa all of his life. He was a member of Valley Forge Baptist Temple where he volunteered as a bus driver and with Bible vacation school. He was a former member of Cedar Heights Community Church. e served in the US Marines where he received the Good Conduct Medal and the Rifle Sharpshooter Medal. He worked as a carpenter and Printer and had worked with Brown Brothers Printing and National Label Co. Son of the late Rev. William E. & Sarah P. (Marshall) Garman. Survivors include his Wife: Rosemarie (Jackowski) Garman of Conshohocken PA, Son: Timothy E. (& Magen) Garmen of Williamsport PA, Son: Arthur J. Garmen of Phoenixville PA, Daughter: Andrea (& Chris Dixon) Garmen of Conshohocken PA, Daughter: Maria (& Lucas) Ryan of Belle Meade NJ. Also survived by 9 Grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 2 Sisters Zelma Durante & Esther Sokol and 3 brothers William, Earl, & Arthur Garman. His Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 12:30 PM from the Valley Forge Baptist Temple, 616 South Trappe Road, Collegeville, Pa 19426. Clergy: Rev. Scott Wendal officiating. There will be a visitation on Friday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the church. Friends may call on Thursday Evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM for a viewing at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Interment will take place in Cold Point Baptist Church Cemetery, Plymouth Meeting, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to : Missionary Fund, c/o Valley Forge Baptist Temple, 616 South Trappe Road, Collegeville, Pa 19426.
