William S. John, Jr. 80, of Eagleville, PA passed away on Tuesday June 21, 2016 . He was born in Philadelphia, PA on Nov 4, 1935. William has lived in Eagleville, Pa for the last 15 years, formerly of Roxborough section of Philadelphia, Pa. He was a member of Visitation B. V. M. RC Church, Trooper, PA. William served in the US Navy during the Korean War, where he received the National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and European Occupational Service Medal. He worked as a Machinist. He was also a member of Delaware Valley Wood Carving Club. Son of the Late William S. & Ida ( Spadaro ) John. Survivors include his Wife: Lois ( Gantert ) John Norristown PA Daughter: Denise (& Bill ) Booth Collegeville PA Daughter: Patti (& Thomas ) Angstadt Roxborough, PA Grandchildren: Lauren, Billy, Ryan, Jacob & Cole Also survived by 4 sisters and a rrother Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Late - Maureen John. His Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10:30 AM from the Visitation B.V.M. RC Church, 196 North Trooper Road, Norristown, Pa 19403. Fr. Terry Weik will be officiating. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at the Church. Interment will be Private.
