William "Bill" H. Hammonds, 88, of Schwenksville, PA passed away on Tuesday July 19, 2016 . He was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on June 11, 1928. Bill has been living in Schwenksville, Pa for over 30 years, formerly of Havertown, Pa. He served in the US Army. He was an Architectural Woodwork Fabricator as owner and operator of William H. Hammonds & Brother, Inc. of Collegeville, Pa. He was a member of the Ardmore Lodge #273 of F & A. M. Bill was an avid antique collector and he enjoyed raising animals especially sheep, goats, chickens and geese. Son of the Late Hammond & Pamela ( Immons ) Hammonds. He is survived by 17 nieces & nephews and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Also many friends especially Brian & Allan Drumheller. He was preceded in death by his siblings James Hammonds, Thomas Hammonds, Florence Mann, Muriel "Pat" Willing and Mildred Burns. His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, Pa 19426. The Rev. Mike Sowards will be officiating. Pastor of St. James Episcopal Church. Friends may call on Friday Morning from 9:00 AM to 10:00AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home 224 West Main Street Trappe PA There will be a Masonic service at 9:45 AM. Interment will take place in St. James Episcopal Church Cemetery, Collegeville, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to: St. James Episcopal Church, 3768 Germantown Pike, Collegeville, Pa 1926.
