Paul J. Quinn  

 

Paul J. Quinn, 67, of West Conshohocken, PA passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022. 

He was born in Norristown, PA on September 15, 1954, the son of the late Eugene F. Quinn, Jr. and the late Frances Ann (Botto) Quinn. He also is nephew and stepson to John J. Quinn, who married Frances Ann (Botto) Quinn subsequent to the passing of Eugene F. Quinn, Jr.

 

Paul has lived in West Conshohocken for the last 45 years, and formerly in Norristown and Conshohocken. He was a member of St. Titus RC Church in East Norriton. He was a member of Conshohocken Bocce Club.

 

Paul worked as a Product Manager with Quaker Chemical Co. He attended Allentown College of St. Francis De Sales (now De Sales University) in Allentown, PA and Bishop Kenrick High School in Norristown.

 

Paul was a member of a large extended family in Southeastern Pennsylvania and South New Jersey. He was an excellent athlete during his school years, and later, a softball player on Quaker Chemical’s company team. For decades, he was a baseball and softball umpire for many recreation leagues and a member the Norristown-based umpiring association. His passion for ocean fishing along the New Jersey coast – notably Seaside Heights – is legendary among friends and family.

 

Survivors include Joann M. (Romano) Quinn, of West Conshohocken, PA, the mother of his five children: Son Jeffrey (& Diana) Quinn of Plymouth Meeting, PA, Son Jeremy (& Gianna) Quinn of Worcester, PA, Daughter Kimberly (& Robert) DeMaria of East Norriton, PA, Son Michael Quinn of West Conshohocken, PA, Son Troy (& Jennifer) Quinn of Lansdale, Pa; Brother Eugene F. (& Susan) Quinn, of Bristol, CT, Brother Thomas Quinn (& Barbara Meserve) of Malvern, PA, Brother James (& Katie) Quinn of Quincy, IL, Brother Dr. Vincent (& Gina) Quinn of Blue Bell, PA, Sister Mary Frances Quinn of Philadelphia, PA, and also survived by his Grandchildren Stella DeMaria, Jameson Quinn, Julienne Quinn, Carter Quinn, Liliana Quinn and Hudson Quinn.

 

His Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

Friends may call on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.

 

Interment will follow in St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.
