In this old snap I took in our yard in Trooper the summer of 1953, two years after we moved there, Jerry is the middle little boy down front between his brothers Don and Paul. Marie, his sister, is the baby being held by Jerry's Aunt Elaine Feilitz Entenman, wife of Jerome Samuel Entenman, who was on the front lines of battle in Korea at the time of this picture, as I recall. My mom, standing center back, was famous for her homemade deviled crabs. I suspect that was central to this picnic! Ruth Marie Brooks Silver

What a shock to just learn of Jerry's passing while using my old computer for something this evening. His dad, Bill, and I are first cousins. I remember Jerry from the day he was born and was often around him and the family. I'm saddened we weren't advised of his death; I'd have attended his Mass even at 89 years old. Oh, the stories I could tell!!!!! May sweet Jerry be resting in peace and Light Perpetual shine upon him+ Ruth Marie Brooks Silver

Jerry was like the other Father Figure to so many, a guiding light in times of need, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer a listening ear. His smiley face ( especially in the parades) and conversations at Starbucks were a beacon of joy. My heartfelt condolences to the Entenman family. Jerry is deeply Loved and cherished by so many. R.I.P. Jerry, Thank you for helping my family when needed and also sharing stories about my father.
