Obituary of Eleanor Morris

Eleanor Morris, 89, of Gilbertsville, PA passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 at her daughter's home in Sanatoga PA. 

She was born in Norristown, PA on June 14, 1935, the daughter of the late Earl and Alice (Bolger) Galloway.

She worked as an Aide at Norristown State Hospital and later at Pennhurst State Hospital until their closing, before becoming a personal care aide. 

Eleanor loved to read, do crossword & jigsaw puzzles, gardening and above all cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

She was the wife of the late Thomas Morris who passed away in 2013. 

Survivors include daughter, Deborah (Michael) Kline; son, Percy Morris; son, Richard (Promise) Morris; daughter, Jeanne (Michael) Miller; six grandchildren, Jeremy Kline, Nathan Kline, Brianna (Skyler) Huff, Jessica Morris, Austin Morris, and Kevin (Alison) Grebe; as well as nine Great-Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings.  

A memorial Service honoring Eleanor's life will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 11:00 am. at the Good Shepherd Chapel at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468. A visitation time will precede the service beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA.
