Elizabeth K. Lang, age 96, of Deptford, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 21, 2025.

She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 6, 1928, the daughter of the late John T. and Elizabeth (Hohberger) Lutz.

Betty has been living in Deptford for seven years, formerly of Villas, NJ, East Norriton, PA and Philadelphia, PA. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, caregiver, and active volunteer in her community. She was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Villas, NJ; St. Paul's Lutheran Church, East Norriton, PA; Bethel Lutheran Church , Philadelphia, PA; and Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. She served as PTA president and on church council, and was a former member of the East Norriton Fire Company Women's Auxiliary.

Betty was the widow of the late Frederick J. Lang, Sr.

Survivors include her son, Frederick J. Lang Jr. of Deptford, N.J. (the late Phyllis) and two daughters, Joyce Lang of Bethlehem, Pa. and Janet (Robert) Hersh of Gainesville, GA.; five grandchildren, Beth Robbins, Caitlyn Joiner, Amanda Longacre, Kali Johanson-Lang and Michael Hersh; and 11 great grandchildren Hannah, Evie, Nora, Evelyn Davy, Ella, Emma, Jonathan Wilder, Collins, Ellis, Mason and Eloise.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John T. and Charles W. Lutz; and two grandchildren, Jonathan T. Hersh and Shannon Lunceford.

Friends may call on Wednesday evening, February 26, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA and on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1190 Valley Forge Road, Fairview Village, PA.

Private interment will take place in Hillside Cemetery, Abington Twp., PA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 1220 Bayshore Road, Villas, NJ 08251.
