I worked with Lorraine for a number of years at Lafayette Interior Fashions. She was a fabulous bubbly person and easy to know and like. I am sad to hear of her passing and know she will be greatly missed. My condolences to all of her friends and family. Rick Mintzell

I met Lorraine over 50 years ago, and skied with her at Spring Mountain and trips to Killington, Vermont. We visited at her house on Swamp Pike when the children were growing up. I moved from PA in the late 70s and had little contact except through word of mouth. I was very happy to see her a few years back in New York City. She was such a sweet person. She always had that big radiant smile. Very sorry to learn of her passing. Sending my sincere sympathy to her children, Herman and Peter and his family. Rest in peace Lorraine. I met Lorraine through our parish women’s group, WINGS, and from the very beginning, I felt a close bond with her. Lorraine radiated love, joy, and warmth. In our too-short time together, Lorraine and I shared so many meaningful moments. We spent hours together in our small-group Bible study, discussing our faith and supporting one another. We also worked side by side on committees and attended retreats and other events. Lorraine’s commitment to her faith and her community was evident in everything she did, from praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet to attending daily Mass and volunteering in so many ways. Lorraine loved her family and friends dearly, and I never heard her speak a harsh word. She also had a wonderful sense of humor and beautiful smile. I am so blessed to have known her and to have called her my friend.

I once went skiing with Lorraine and we had a great time together. She was definitely the better skier but was patient with my steep slope endeavors. I have always had a special place in my heart for Lorraine: her kindness, patience and compassion always showed in our conversations. We will miss her presence amongst us. Heartfelt condolences to Peter and her dear family. Annemie

Lorraine was such fun to work with on the Philadelphia Flower Show 2023 exhibit. The Four Counties Garden Club will miss her calm demeanor, amazing talent and infectious smile.

We were privileged to have Lorraine in our lives. She has been “Oma” to our children since they were born and loved them as if they were her own grandchildren- and she was very much loved in return. We are heartbroken but grateful for our time spent with her. We will miss her, her kindness and her amazing culinary skills! ❤️

We came to know Lorraine through her fiance Peter. We got to spend time with her during dinners around holidays and birthdays for his grandchildren at his son Matthew's home. He was lucky man to have her by his side. Lorraine often talked of her children and grandchildren with much love and pride, sharing pictures and stories. We were fortunate to have Lorraine be such a warm, kind, gracious and lovely Oma in our grandchildren's life. She holds a very special place in their little hearts. I will always remember her as a beautiful and true Lady inside and out. We will always be thankful for her being with us. Heartfelt condolences to all her family and loved ones.
