Obituary of Iva Jean Delliponti

Iva Jean Delliponti  

Iva Jean "Jeanie" (Irvin) Delliponti, 76, of Conshohocken, PA passed away peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. 

She was born in Middlesboro, KY on May 3, 1948, the daughter of the late Steve and the late Daisy (Johnson) Irvin.

Jeanie has recently moved to Brightview in East Norriton, formerly of Spring Mill Ave, Conshohocken, Pa.

She graduated from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School c/o ‘67.

She was a Homemaker and worked outside her home with Artec Knitting Mill, Victory Metals and retired from Teleflex. 

Aside from the tremendous love she had for her family Jeanie loved being a social butterfly. Some of her favorite things: line dancing with ‘The Girls’, annual trips to the Flower Show, cruises with her niece Sheila, bus trips to the casinos, walking her boys to their sporting events, reading the daily paper or one of her novels, crossword puzzles.  She was good for always having a pot of coffee ready, watching her tv dramas, and teaching the kids how to play cards, especially Rummy!  Jeanie had a passion for cooking and baking.  She was known for her soup beans, corn bread, fried potatoes and her world-famous Sloppy Joes, pizzelles and cookies.  She loved hosting all of the holidays and functions for her family and friends.

Survivors include her beloved husband for over 54 years Andrew ‘Andy’ Delliponti of East Norriton (formerly of Conshohocken), Son Christopher (Mary) Delliponti of Trooper, Son Kevin (Careyann McArdle) Delliponti of Harvey's Lake, also survived by her Grandchildren Codi, Brianna, Andrew, Justin and Crystal, many nieces and nephews and ‘The Girls’.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Marvin Fry, John Fry and Kenneth VanBebber

Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

Friends may call on Wednesday Morning, March 5, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home. 

Interment will take place at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
