Obituary of Nabil K. Heness

Nabil K. Heness  

Nabil Kiroloss Heness, 77, of Folsom, PA passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025.

He was born in Egypt, on January 1, 1948, the son of the late Kirollos and the late Maria (Gobrial) Heness.

He immigrated to America in 1989 and established his family in Folsom, Pa for 18 of his 36 years. He was a devout member of St. Mary and St. Mercurius Coptic Orthodox Church of Conshohocken, Pa and St. Abanoub Coptic Orthodox Church of Pottstown.

 He was a graduate of Cairo University, a retired Chemist, a veteran of the Egyptian military, but more importantly a devoted and caring husband and father. He loved nothing more than serving his family, laughing with friends, and days at the beach. 

He was the husband of Neveen (Mitry) Heness.

Survivors include Wife Neveen Heness of Folsom, Son Ramy Heness of Philadelpia, Daughter Nancy Heness of Chadds Ford, Sister Amal Awadalla of Philadelphia, Brother Magdy Heness of Egypt, Sister Nabila Mitry of Virginia, Also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his older brother Shawkey Heness,

There will be a visitation for family and friends on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at St. Mary and St. Mercurius Coptic Orthodox Church, 209 West 5th Avenue, Conshohocken, PA.

His Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary and St. Mercurius Coptic Orthodox Church, 209 West 5th Avenue, Conshohocken, PA.

Interment will take place in Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.  

Memorial Contributions may be made in his memory to: St. Mary and St. Mercurius Coptic Orthodox Church, 209 West 5th Avenue, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
