Obituary of Ghisele Curcio

Ghisele Curcio, age 66, of Collegeville, PA passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025.

She was born in West Chester, PA on December 31, 1958, the daughter of the late Barclay and Caroline (Hannum) Rubincam.

Ghisele has been living in Collegeville for 35 years and was a member of Victory Church of Audubon.

She is survived by her husband, Mark E. Curcio of Collegeville; daughter, Marcella M. Curcio of Collegeville; two brothers, Christopher Rubincam and Reggie Rubincam, both of West Chester; mother in-law, Margaret "Ginny" (& Phil) Buffone of Blue Bell; two sisters in-law, Dawn (& Sal) Pileggi of Blue Bell and Donna (& Phillip) Greenberg of Warrington; and four nieces, Jessica, Vanessa, Lexie and Molly.

She is a graduate of Kutztown University with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. After a brief period of teaching, she enjoyed a long career as a Program Director for the Girl Scouts of Eastern PA. This gave her the opportunity she sought to establish and operate programs to assist, mentor, and show God’s love to many young girls in numerous diverse communities within the region.

Ghisele’s many interests included  travel, nature and urban hiking and exploring, history, spending time at the shore, and volunteer work. She enjoyed keeping her family tradition of visiting museum and cultural attractions, including most often local venues such as Longwood Gardens, Winterthur, and the Brandywine Museum where her father Barclay Rubincam exhibited. Ghisele will be best remembered as a kind-hearted, faithful, and loving person to many.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Victory Church, 2650 Audubon Rd., Norristown, PA 19403.

Ghisele's request was that you would not wear black to her memorial service.
