Obituary of Nancy D. Kolenda

Nancy D. Kolenda, age 77, of East Norriton, PA passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 30, 1948, the daughter of the late Ivan H. and Mary (Rush) Gulliford.

Nancy has been living in East Norriton since 1969.  She was a graduate of the former Bishop Kenrick High School.  She was a faithful parishioner of St. Titus RC Church, where she was a founding member of the Sodality.  Professionally, Nancy was the director of a science education foundation at Temple University and served as President of the Temple University Hospital Auxiliary  She was also a Republican Committeewoman for East Norriton Township.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Henry L. "Hank" Kolenda of East Norriton; four children, Helen Kolenda (Robert Ducke) of London, UK; Michael (Mary) Kolenda of Exton, PA, Stephen Kolenda of East Norriton, PA and Anne Kolenda of East Norriton, PA.  She is also survived by six grandchildren, Emmanuel, Rocco, Lauren, Kitty, Ryan and Charlie; and her granddog Snoopy. 

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 10:30 AM from St. Titus RC Church, 3006 Keenwood Road, East Norriton, PA 19403.  Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday morning from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church.

Interment will be private at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Titus RC Church at the above address.
