My heartfelt condolences to Jasons's family and friends. I had the pleasure of working with Jason at PVMSE where I worked in the office. He would come into the office, stand in front of my desk, and had that mischievous smile on his face before he said a word. He could always make me smile. Rest in peace, dear Jason.

Our daughters were blessed to have Mr. Cook as their teacher during middle school. He was always upbeat, positive and dedicated to his students. He made a profound impact on the lives of many children in our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. We are grateful for the time they spent with him and he made a positive difference in their lives.

Mr Cook was my teacher in middle school and reffed many of my basketball games. He taught me my states and capitals and sparked my interest in my love for history and social studies. I remember him calling some fouls on me during a basketball games and would always bring it up in school the next week and how I could play better. He always had a smile on his face and would always make sure to say hello whenever we crossed paths. Rest In Peace Mr Cook.

I had Mr Cook as a teacher in 2018. I was always very quiet in my classes and didn’t talk a lot, but he always made me feel seen and heard. He’d talk to me, make jokes and as a student I could tell he really loved his job and left a positive impact on students. He truly was such a light. Sending lots of love to the Cook family at this time ❤️thank you Mr Cook

I had Mr. Cook his first or second year of teaching. I was lucky enough to have him as homeroom and social studies. Middle school is so hard and he was so supportive and gave support like no other. He would repeat this one phrase all the time "Do a job big or small, do it right or not at all" he has no idea how much that has helped me through life. He is definitely one of the good ones and I'm so happy I knew him.
I had to share something that made me laugh, but he was so concerned about turning 30 and our whole class would pick on him in a playful way because he would mention it all the time. Now being over 30 myself I laugh at how ridiculous that is because 30 isn't old at all! What a goober. I'm sorry for your loss, rest easy Mr. Cook

There really is no teacher that can compare to Mr. Cook. I had him for social studies, and I was lucky enough to have him for homeroom during the 2017-18 school year. I’m now a sophomore in college majoring in education, and every time that I am asked what teacher inspired me to want to teach, I always say Mr. Cook. He cared about each of his students in a way that I hope to one day. If you were having a bad day, as soon as you walked into his classroom, Mr. Cook made it a whole lot better. Sending my thoughts and prayers to the Cook family.

Mr. Cook and I share the same birthday. When I had him as a teacher he brought me candy. He would send me happy birthday emails even after I had him. Amazing person. Rest in peace.

In my thoughts and prayers. Mr. Cook was an awesome and funny teacher. When I was in eighth grade at PV Middle School East back in 2008, I remember talking with him about why we were going to Gettysburg instead of Washington, DC. He said because I want to and haven’t been there yet! I laughed and smiled. He always made class amusing and engaging. Thanks for the memories! You will be missed at PV.

I cant imagine all of the broken hearts over Jason. I didn't know Jason very long but over the last several years I had the pleasure of working with him at PV Middle School and as a fellow PIAA Football Official. He was the first one to help me with subbing and officiating. I never had to ask for help he was just there. His sense of humor was intoxicating and brought joy to everyone. He will be truly missed and left this world WAY TO EARLY. God bless his family and have strength in knowing what a great person he was,

Jason would of thought it was so cool that he passed away on the same day as the Pope. I can picture him talking about it for hours. :)
Its not goodbye my friend, but see you further down the road. - Mike Jeffers
