This is the heart of the man we know as Charles Scalies, Jr. Kind, genuine, humorous & generous to our Curtis family. We also were blessed to enjoy the scrumptious dinners and warmth of the family too. Rest easy (King) Charles.

I am also named Charles Scalies, the son of his late. brother Joe. My favorite memories of uncle Charlie will always be of spending Christmas eve together when all of us children were young..One year he pulled up and his car was lit up like a Christmas tree. Rest in peace Uncle Charlie

I worked with Charlie at Clifton Precision for a number of years and found him to be one special person and friend. He was fun to work with in the office and on the road. Although I was based on the West coast, he was a constant and positive presence in my office. I learned a lot from him as he focused and guided me on the mysteries of contracts. I fondly remember dinners with him and Angie. He will be truly missed. Condolences to the Scalies family.

I worked with Charlie 1st as his secretary and later as a contracts administrator. Because Charlie believed in me I was promoted to contracts administrator. He was a great boss (we all agreed to that many years ago). He had a super sense of humor & made the work day flow easily. My sincerest sympathy goes to the entire Scalies family.
