Obituary of Charles F. Carvell, Jr.
Charles F. “Buzz” Carvell, Jr., age 86, of Spring City, PA passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
He was born in Harrisburg, PA, on March 23, 1939, the son of the late Charles F. Carvell, Sr. and the late Dorothy (Strunk) Carvell.
Buzz has been living in Spring City, PA for 20 years, formerly of Mexico, PA and Norristown, PA. He honorably served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Veda Kay Carvell of Spring City; daughter, Jane (Walter) Koniewicz of Conshohocken; three granddaughters, Kelly (Shaun) Bradley, Jill Koniewicz, and Brooke (Brian) Chmielewski; and six great grandchildren, Harvey, Veda, Charlotte, Delaney, Keira and Stella.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary, Verna, and Barbara; and grandson, Walter.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Graveside Service on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Please plan to arrive at the cemetery by 1:45 PM.
Memorial Contributions may be made in his memory to Disabled American Veterans.
