Obituary of Anthony E. Berardi
Anthony E. "Tony" Berardi, age 73, of West Norriton, PA passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025.
He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 17, 1951, the son of the late Armando and Mary (Morelli) Berardi.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Lynn (Haughton) Berardi of West Norriton and sister, Theresa Berardi of Conshohocken.
Along with his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his brother, Armando "Mondi" Berardi, Jr.
He was a graduate of Archbishop Kennedy High School, and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Philadelphia University. He enjoyed a successful career and was last employed as a Financial Analyst for Vishay Intertechnologies, Inc, Malvern before retiring in 2019.
Tony loved music and spent many years performing as a weekend DJ at local clubs and private events. He also loved dancing and always drew a crowd around him when doing the Brooklyn Shuffle and joyfully led others in the steps for various line dances. He never hung up his dancing shoes and frequently went out to enjoy local bands with his wife, Carol Lynn.
His lifelong hobbies were boating, hunting and fishing. His love of the outdoors included vacations at the shore and spending summers boating with friends at Raystown Lake in Huntingdon County, PA. He enjoyed the change of seasons and spent fall and winter hunting and fishing. He was a member of Ranger Rod and Gun Club in Coplay.
Tony actively enjoyed Martial Arts and was accomplished in Tae Kwon Do. He participated in many tournaments, winning a trophy in Breaking and two trophies in Sparring. His last tournament was in 2005 when, at the age of 54 after taking a lengthy break due to foot injuries, he secured another trophy for 1st Place in Forms.
Tony had many friends and was known for his warm smile, sense of humor and kindness. He was patient and generous with his time always lending a hand to help friends and family when needed. He will be deeply missed by his Wife and all who loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday, June 16, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401.
Interment will be private.
