Obituary of Octavio F. Maragni

Octavio F. Maragni, age 68, of Collegeville, PA passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 28, 1956, the son of the late Raymond and the late Jean (Galbo) Maragni.

Octavio has been living in Collegeville for less than one year, formerly of Long Island and Brooklyn, NY.  Prior to his retirement, Octavio worked as a Pharmacist for Memorial Sloane - Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.  One of his favorite things to do was go to the theatre in NYC with his wife, Robin.

He is survived by his wife, Robin L. Maragni (nee Tucker); son, Andrew (Adriana) Maragni; daughter, Angela Maragni; son, Anthony Maragni; sister, Deanna (Vincent) Longo; godson Vincent; brother, Raymond Maragni, Jr. (Diane); goddaughter JeanAnne and two grandsons, Alexander and Anderson.  

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Maragni.  

Octavio was an animal lover, and had dogs throughout his life, Cash, Cleo, and Rusty, as well as cats, including MommyKat and Little Girl among many others. He loved to take care of birds and squirrels with Robin. He was extremely artistic and creative, and has a portfolio to show for it. 

His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426.  Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home prior to the service.  

Interment will be private.   

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,  262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
