Obituary of John B. Porucznik

John B. "Chick" Porucznik, age 75, of Philadelphia, PA passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 22, 1949, the son of the late John B. and Dorothy F. (Graham) Porucznik.

John was a lifelong resident of Roxborough.  He enjoyed gardening around his home and going for walks around the neighborhood.  He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.  

He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force from 1969 until 1973.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judith Porucznik (née Pisarski); son, Christopher Porucznik; and brother, Michael (Janet) Porucznik. 

His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the Clare McIlvaine Mundy Funeral Home, 7384 Ridge Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19128.  Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will take place in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.
