Obituary of Mahendra Raojibhai Patel

Mahendra Raojibhai Patel, 73, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025, after a courageous two-year battle with lung cancer.

Born in Gujarat, India, Mahendra later migrated to the United States, where he built a life for his family in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he worked tirelessly as a self-employed business owner to provide for his loved ones.

Mahendra found joy in life’s simple pleasures—watching cricket, traveling, and spending time with friends and family - especially dropping off food to his daughters and shuttling his grandchildren to their activities - moments that brought him great happiness.

He is survived by his wife, Sushila Patel; his siblings, Pushpaben, Kushumben, Jayaben, Ushaben and Arvind Patel; his daughters, Kavita and the late Kaushik Patel, and Falguni and Devang Patel; and his cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Gavin, and Gia Patel.

Mahendra will be remembered for his hard work, generosity, and love for his family. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled and the joy he shared with everyone around him.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 3 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 E. Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401.  Cremation will follow at the on-site crematory.
