Obituary of Lawrence J. McGee

Lawrence J. McGee, age 74, of Conshohocken, PA passed away on September 20, 2025 at his home.

He was born on July 29, 1951, the son of the late John and Mary (Tiernan) McGee. 

He was a lifelong resident of Conshohocken and a parishioner of the former Ss. Cosmas and Damian Church.  He enjoyed carpentry in his younger years.  He worked at the former Conshohocken Italian Bakery for almost 50 years.  He was a fan of the Phillies, Flyers and Eagles.  He honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  

He is the husband of the late Kathleen T. (Manze) McGee.

He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Weigand of Coatesville and Anna McCabe of East Norriton; son, Lawrence J. McGee Jr. of Conshohocken; and sister, Mary Kendus of Bensalem.  He is also survived by three grandchildren, Jessica Weigand, Deron Weigand Jr., and Ian Weigand. 

Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Peggy Lacey, John McGee, Daniel McGee, Patty Rodenbaugh and Dennis McGee.

His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 10:30 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA 19428.  Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will take place in St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
