Obituary of Donna Lee Bechtel

Donna L. Bechtel   

Donna L. Bechtel, 81, a life-long resident of Plymouth Meeting, PA passed away at home on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born in North Wales, PA on August 1, 1944, the daughter of the late Floyd B. and June (Schnable) Souder.

She was a graduate of Norristown Area High School and graduated from Sacred Heart School of Nursing in 1984. She spent most of her career as a nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital until its closure, worked at Blue Bell Place and later went on to retire from Rittenhouse Pine Nursing Home. 

She was the wife of the late Richard L. Bechtel who passed away in 2023.

She is survived by her son, Richard (Lisa) Bechtel, Jr.; daughter, Jennifer (Peter) Magliocco; granddaughter, Stephanie (Brian) Wrigley; 3 great-grandchildren, Kirra Wrigley, Peyton Wrigley, and Carson Wrigley and another grandson Ahrend Bechtel. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Andrew Bechtel.

Friends may call on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA.
