Obituary of Margaret M. Pellissier

Margaret M. Pellissier  

Margaret M. (Ryba) Pellissier, 68, of Downingtown, PA passed away Friday, October 3, 2025 surrounded by her loving family, after a valiant fight with cardiomyopathy. She had been a breast cancer survivor.

She was born in Norristown, PA  the daughter of the late Walter and the late Kathryn (Coyle) Ryba.

She has been living in Downingtown, Pa for over 30 years, formerly of the Betzwood section of Norristown, Pa.

Meg graduated from Bishop Kenrick High School and St. Joseph's University. She was a retired Administrative Assistant.

She was an avid reader, and a long time member of her neighborhood book group. She enjoyed working out with her friends from Engage Personal Training. She loved the beach, especially Wrightsville Beach, NC and the Outer Banks. She loved dogs, old movies and TV trivia.

Meg is survived by her sister Katherine (Bob) Harney of Audubon, PA. She was the loving aunt of Kerry (Sarah) Rhinehart and Kevin (Briana) Harney and her great nephew Cooper Rhinehart. She's also survived by her former husband, Rick Pellissier, and will be missed by her cousins and friends.

Friends may call on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, 1260 S. Trooper Road, Norristown, PA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.

The next time you're sitting on the beach somewhere, raise a glass to Meg. She would like that.
