Marie E. Tancredi
Marie E. ( Pollick) Tancredi, 83 of Philadelphia, PA passed away Tuesday, October 14,2025 peacefully with her family by her side. She was born October 1,1942 the daughter of the late John and the late Mary (Centrella ) Pollick.
She was the beloved mother of Vincent, Marcus (Patrice), Dawn, and Tina (Christopher) . Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren — Vinnie, Mackenzie, Jack, Evan, Luke, and Bianca— who filled her heart and home with laughter and love.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her Son Vincent Tancredi, Brother John Pollick, Sister in law Rosie (Lafferty) Pollick, and Sister Delores Pollick Bowman and Brother in law Jack Bowman
Known for her great sense of humor and endless creativity, Marie lived a vibrant, hands-on life. She was a gifted artist — working in stained glass, watercolor, and oil paint, as well as makeup artistry, crocheting, knitting, baking, and even cake decorating (which she’d say was “a work in progress”).
After raising her family, she proudly followed her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse, returning to school and earning her degree. Nursing wasn’t just a career — it was another way she poured her compassion, humor, and steady hands into helping others.
Her giving spirit extended far beyond her work. She volunteered in schools, church, and her community, always ready to lend a hand or share a smile. In her free time, she lovingly knitted blankets for babies and donated them to those in need — a true reflection of her kind and generous heart.
Marie will be remembered for her warmth, wit, creativity, and the love she poured into everything — and everyone — she touched. She will be deeply missed but forever loved.
A graveside service and interment will be held privately.
