Lawrence J. Brandon, age 83, of Collegeville, PA passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025.


He was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania on January 15, 1942, the son of the late Howard J. and Mary T. (née Buckley) Brandon.


He was married to the late Joan P. Brandon (née Matta) for 60 years until her passing.


Larry lived most of his life in Collegeville and was a parishioner of St. Eleanor’s RC Church.  He had a long career as a Systems Analyst for numerous local construction companies. 


He enjoyed flying as a private pilot and was an instructor and mentor for high school students interested in flying.  He was a Corvette collector and enjoyed racing cars.  Larry was an animal lover and he and his late wife Joan also showed Keeshonds at national dog shows.  He also owned and rode horses for many years. 


He honorably served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1966 until 1972.


He was devoted to his grandchildren. He  enjoyed attending their dance recitals, soccer games, and other extracurricular activities. 


He is survived by two daughters, Michelle (Jeffrey) Davis and Dr. Eileen Brandon, both of Collegeville; as well as his two grandchildren, Kathryn Davis and Ethan Davis. 


His Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426.  Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeral Home.   


Private interment will take place at a later date.  


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to: Perkiomenville SPCA or Flying Fur Animal Rescue, flyingfur.org.
