Teresa was my grandfather’s cousin, but to me she was my American aunt, a bridge of love between two distant worlds. Even though the ocean separated us, the bond with our family always remained strong and alive. I was incredibly fortunate to know her and to spend precious days with her: a truly extraordinary, magnificent woman, capable of leaving a deep mark on the heart of anyone who met her. I was moved reading her obituary, as it captures the essence of a truly special person. Teresa, it was a true honor to know you. I love you, and I will never forget you.

Teresa was a true woman of elegance and beauty. I will always remember her. My deepest sympathy to all of the family. She will truly be missed.

Teresa was a great sister-in-law. She loved going to Broadway shows in NYC and locally, if possible. She had impeccable taste when it came to home decor and was definitely a fashionista. Her pizzelles were awesome. She made one at a time with the old-fashion iron held over the range burner, and graciously shared them. She has four wonderful children whom I know and many other relatives who were blessed to have her around too for so many years. May she R.I.P.
