Shirley B. Gillespie
Shirley B. (Patrick) Gillespie, 84, of Sanatoga, PA passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025.
She was born in Hazelton, Pa on February 5, 1941, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Bernice E. (Roth) Patrick.
Shirley has been living in Sanatoga, Pa since 1980, formerly of Philadelphia, Pa.
She was a Homemaker.
Shirley enjoyed cheering on the Phillies, gardening, baking, feeding and watching birds, and most enjoyed spending time with her growing family.
She was the wife of James J. Gillespie.
Survivors include Husband James J. Gillespie of Sanatoga, Pa, Daughter Colleen (Peter) Rio of Elverson, Pa, Son Jim (Debbie) Gillespie of Ship Bottom, NJ, Daughter Karen (Jay) Pritchard of Gilbertsville, Pa, Brother Joseph Patrick of Jeffersonville, Pa, also survived by her Grandchildren Peter (Brittany) Rio, III, Christopher (Alyssa) Rio, Ryan (Megan Johnston) Rio, James (Anna) Gillespie, Brooke (James Wood) Gillespie, Mathew Pritchard, Daniel Pritchard and Katelyn Pritchard and her Great Grandchildren Hannah, Henry, Cooper and Cade.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Edward Patrick.
Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 3:00 PM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA.
Friends may call on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
