Gloria D. Buscio Obituary
Gloria D. Buscio, 100, of Collegeville, PA passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 25, 1924, the daughter of the late Anthony and the late Teresa (Biscari) Alosi.
Gloria was the wife of the late Michael A. Buscio; she and Mike spent many happy years in the Germantown area and later moved to Norristown where they were parishioners of Holy Saviour RC Church.
For the past three years, Gloria had been living in Collegeville, PA.
Her favorite pastimes were sewing, quilting, baking, watching old movies, and doing crossword puzzles. Gloria loved summer vacations in Sea Isle City, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Maria (Bob) Derbyshire of Collegeville, PA and Lea (Ray) Weldon of Moorestown, NJ; four grandchildren, Lauren Genovese (Frank), Michael Armstrong (Kelly), Sara Weldon, and Nick Weldon (Sufei) ; and eight great-grandchildren, Cassandra, Alyssa, Anthony, Dominic, Jordyn, Nathan, Harper, and Riley.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five siblings.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 11:30 AM at St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA 19426.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday morning, December 12 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Church.
Interment will take place in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
