Karen A. Donovan  

Karen A. Donovan, 64, of Conshohocken, PA passed away peacefully on  Saturday, November 29, 2025, in the comfort and safety of the home she loved. 

She was born in Chestnut Hill, Pa on October 30, 1961, the daughter of the late Andrew J. and the late Margaret (Watson) Donovan.

She graduated from Bishop Kenrick High School, class of 1979 where she met many lifetime friends.  After graduating, 

Karen spent many dedicated years working at Montgomery County Courthouse in the Clerk of Courts office.  She formed many close and lasting friendships there, staying in touch with her colleagues throughout her life. 

Karen was an avid shopper, a loyal Philadelphia Phillies fan, and someone who always enjoyed a trip to the casino.  She cherished time spent with her family and found joy in life's simple pleasures.

Survivors include Brother James Donovan of Conshohocken, Niece and Nephew Andrew J. (& Katie) Donovan of Aston, and Krista (& Thomas) Hunsicker of Gilbertsville, and her two Great Nephews Lucas Thomas Hunsicker and Andrew J. Donovan, VI, and her beloved beagle Maggie.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother and sister in law Andrew and Nancy Donovan, as well as two beloved beagles, Booper and Angie, her loyal companions.

Karen faced many health challenges throughout her life and lived with significant pain for many years.  Despite this, she fought courageously each day,  determined to be present for her family, friends, and loved one.  

In the final months of her life, Karen experienced renewed joy.  She recently celebrated a wonderful birthday and a warm Thanksgiving surrounded by her loving family-moments that brought her great happiness and peace.

Karen will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.  May she rest in peace.

Her Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 5, 2025 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

Friends may call on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home. 

Interment will take place in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.
