Obituary of Meredith A. Krechmer

Meredith A. (Murphy) Krechmer, 65, of King of Prussia, PA passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025

 

She was born in Darby, Pa on November 13, 1960, the daughter of the late Daniel J. and the late Mary Ann (Fluehr) Murphy, Jr.

 

Meredith has been living in King of Prussia, Pa since 1998, formerly of Gladwyne, Pa.  

 

Merrie graduated from Academy of Notre Dame deNamur, Class of 1979 and Gwynedd Mercy University.  She was a homemaker and also worked in Professional Car Sales.  Her favorite movie was Sound of Music. She enjoyed cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, growing flowers and vegetables, eating seafood,  and most enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

 

Survivors include daughter Elise Krechmer of King of Prussia, son Brian Krechmer of King of Prussia, and brother Keith (Joan) Murphy of Exton.

 

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Ian A. Murphy.

 

Her Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM from St. John Vianney Church, 350 Conshohocken State Road, Gladwyne, PA.

 

Friends may call on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the church.

 

Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, Pa.
