Ellen K. Petrecz  

Ellen K. (Sakal) Petrecz, 62, of Skippack, PA passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026. 

She was born in Phoenixville, Pa on June 6, 1963, the daughter of the late Eugene and the late Mary  Rose (McGuigan) Sakal.

Ellen has been living in Skippack since 2000, formerly of Collegeville, Pa.

She was a member of St. Eleanor's RC Church of Collegeville, Pa.

Ellen was an avid Philadelphia sports fan especially Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia Phillies.

She enjoyed reading especially Romance Novels.

She worked as a Safety Counselor for a Truck Rental.

She was the wife of Robert J. Petrecz.

Survivors include Husband Robert Petrecz of Skippack, Son Adam Petrecz of Collegeville, Son Justin Petrecz of Philadelphia, Sister Maureen (Richard) Kirkner of Phoenixville, Sister Mary Jean (Timothy) Cornelius of Lansdale, Brother Brian (Caren Gross) Sakal of Royersford, Brother David (Ann Cochran) Sakal of Phoenixville, Brother Joseph (Diane) Sakal of Phoenixville, also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother James Sakal.

Her Memorial Mass will be held Friday, February 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM from St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA.

Friends may call on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the church. 

Interment will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
