Anthony "Tony" Arnao, Jr. Obituary
Anthony Arnao, Jr., age 86, of Perkiomenville, PA passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026.
Born and raised in South Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Anthony Arnao, Sr. and the late Josephine (Vacante) Arnao.
Tony honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Tony has been living in Perkiomenville for 33 years, formerly of Royersford. He was a parishioner of St. Philip Neri RC Church of Pennsburg, PA. He was a longtime Insurance Broker, owning and operating A. Arnao Agency in Collegeville, PA. He was an active member of the Catholic War Veterans of Norristown, PA. He was also a member of the Collegeville-Trappe Rotary and later the Collegeville Lions Club. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing, and taking trips to the Jersey shore with his children. He also enjoyed playing cards, dancing as a member of many local clubs and traveling with his wife Dolores. He was deeply family oriented and was a longtime member of the Calvaruso & Serro Beneficial Society.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dolores Arnao (né Pellerite) of Perkiomenville; three sons, Michael (Annette) Arnao of Collegeville, David Arnao (Susan Smith) of Collegeville and Anthony Arnao of Asheville, NC; three grandchildren, Audrey, Keith and Charlotte; and one great granddaughter, Ingrid.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gene (and his wife Debra) Arnao and sister, Eileen Arnao.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM from St. Philip Neri Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg, PA 18073. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church.
Interment will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
