Kathleen Joyce Pilecki    

Kathleen J. Pilecki, 72, of Lansdale, PA passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026. 

She was born in Norristown, Pa on June 21, 1953, the daughter of the late Paul and the late Stella (Sikorski) Pilecki.

Kathleen grew up in Conshohocken and graduated from Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School, and Lafayette College, where she was part of their first coed class, she received a degree in Biology. Her dentistry studies at Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine were sadly ended by a stroke that altered the remaining course of her life.

Despite intensive and continued efforts to regain speaking and reading skills, she had adapted to communicating within her limitations.

She focused on developing friendships and she pursued wellness and physical fitness activities. She appreciated the arts and undertook stained glass and drawing projects. She enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing, rowing and horseback riding.  Most recently she completed hikes of the Schuylkill River and Wissahickon Creek Trails.  She also enjoyed bowling and hitting golf balls at the driving range.

She was a member of and a regular visitor to the Morris Arboretum where she developed an interest in botany.

She was an avid tennis fan and of course, a fan of all teams Philadelphia, especially the Sixers.

Survivors include Sister Christine McCormick of West Chester, PA, Brother Paul S. (Barbara Derrickson) Pilecki of Kiawah Island, SC, Nephews Derek Pilecki and Christopher Pilecki.  Also survived by 2 Great Nieces and 2 Great Nephews. 

Her Graveside Service and Interment will take place on Thursday June 4, 2026 at 10:00AM in SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Cemetery, 314 West Church Road, King Of Prussia, PA.
