Loretta was an avid and meticulous quilter. She rarely needed a reason to make one, creating quilts for family, friends, and anyone fortunate enough to be on the receiving end of her craftsmanship. She enjoyed golfing, and gave generously of her time volunteering with the Red Cross and Meals on Wheels. Her faith remained important throughout her life as a lector at St. Bernard Church and parishioner of St. Barnabas Church. Of all the titles she carried, her favorite was “Memom.” She was a devoted grandmother who loved fiercely, cared deeply, and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
