James Bertram Anderson, age 55, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026.

He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on March 6, 1971, the son of Bertha Lee (née Mosley) Anderson and the late James Edward Anderson, III.

James relocated to Lansdale, Pennsylvania from Randolph, New Jersey in 2018, after residing in Newark, Delaware prior to Randolph. He was employed as a Senior Manager in Regulatory Information Systems for Moderna, a Massachusetts based pharmaceutical and biotechnology company.  Earlier work included several years at Veeva Systems, Dell EMC, and Morgan Stanley.  

James studied History and Computer Science at Duke University in North Carolina and completed his education at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Michelle Anderson (née Harris) of Lansdale, Pennsylvania; daughter, Amelia Anderson of Lansdale, Pennsylvania; mother Bertha Anderson of Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters, Jhandra Richards (Daniel) of Alpharetta, Georgia and Jada Anderson of Los Angeles, California; mother-in-law, Loretta Thompson Harris of Upper Township, New Jersey; sister-in-law, Angela Harris-Moore of Mays Landing, New Jersey; and brother-in-law, Alan Harris (Tanya) of O’Fallon, Illinois.  James also leaves to cherish his memory a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 9:00 AM followed by the funeral service in a conservative African Methodist Episcopal tradition beginning at 10:00 AM in the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401.  Floral tributes may be sent to the funeral home; memorial donations may also be made in his name to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America www.bbbs.org.

A procession to Washington Memorial Chapel Cemetery, 2000 Valley Forge Park Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406 for interment and repast will immediately follow.
