Gertrude B. Powell, 82, of Norristown, PA passed away on Wednesday May 3, 2017. She was born in Camden, NJ on July 1, 1934. Gertrude has been living in Lower Providence for over 12 years, formerly of Williamstwon, NJ and Northeast Philadelphia. She worked as an administrative assistant with a bank. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her granddaughter and great grandsons. Daughter of the Late Madeleine ( Reinhardt ) Joerger. Survivors include her Daughter: Barbara Powell Lower Providence PA Daughter: Madeleine Konopka Philadelphia PA Son: Gilbert Powell Philadelphia PA Granddaughter: Melanie (& Jim ) Zamichieli Lafayette Hill PA Also survived by her Great Grandsons JJ & Freddie. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the St. Philip Neri RC Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 10:45AM at the Church. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: American Cancer Society, P.O.
