He was a member of Horse Breeders Association, American Legion and an avid member of NRA.

Joseph L. Venezia, Sr., 82, of Conshohocken, PA passed away on Monday June 25, 2018. He was born in Norristown, PA on November 16, 1935. Joseph has lived in Conshohocken, PA since 1973, formerly of Norristown, PA. He was a member of Holy Saviour RC Church of Norristown, PA. Graduate of Norristown High School. He served in the US Marines during the Korean War and received the Good Conduct Medal. Joseph was a meat cutter at Carl Venezia Meats, which he owned and operated with his brothers. He was a member of Horse Breeders Association, American Legion and an avid member of NRA. Son of the late Carl & Lucy ( Roscioli ) Venezia. Survivors include his Wife: Doris ( Ketchum) Venezia of Conshohocken, PA; Daughter: Patricia (& Andrew) Moreno of Bensalem, PA; Son: Joesph L. (& Karen) Venezia, Jr. of Frederick, MD; Brother: Dominic (& Joan) Venezia of Plymouth Meeting, PA; Brother: Carl (& Jackie) Venezia of Plymouth Meeting, PA; Also survived by 2 Grandchildren: Alexandra Venezia & Joseph L. Venezia, III. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Byrnes. His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM, at Holy Saviour RC Church, 407 East Main Street, Norristown, PA 19401. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the Church. Interment will be private in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
