Jon O. Gruber  

Jon O. Gruber, 82, of Collegeville, PA passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022. 

He was born in Norristown, Pa on February 28, 1940, the son of the late Charles A. and the late Elizabeth W. (Olsen) Gruber.

Jon has lived in Collegeville since 1978, formerly of Norristown where he was born and raised.

He graduated from Norristown High School and Pennsylvania Military College.

He served in the U S Army.  Jon worked as a Industrial Chemist with Krylon Paints. 

He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, traveling with family & friends, and cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles.  He cherished family gatherings.

He was the husband of Barbara M. (Miklos) Gruber for 47 years.

Survivors include Wife Barbara Gruber of Collegeville, Pa, Son Jeffrey C. (& Carol) Gruber of Collegeville, Pa, Son Kevin J. (& Kathryn) Gruber of  Wilmington, DE, Sister Elizabeth "Betsy" Hassler of Reading, Pa also survived by his Grandchildren Ellen, Frederick, Jack and Sam.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Netha Bosler.

His Service will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM from St Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA.

Friends may call on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the church. 

Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery Co., West Norriton, PA  

Memorial Contributions may be made in his memory to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
