Obituary of John A. Cressman
John A. Cressman
Cressman, John A., of Norristown, PA, beloved son of Barbara W. and Wilmer D. Cressman, III, born November 20, 1962, was called to the Lord on February 10, 2023.
He is survived by his parents, brother Andrew (& Laura), and two nephews, David and Keith.
John graduated from Norristown High School and studied architecture at Penn State University.
As the owner of a contracting services business, he utilized his immense creative talents and wide range of skills to design and construct building improvements of all kinds. His creative abilities were evident from early youth; he received painting lessons from noted professional artist and family relative Lois Rapp and incorporated a deep appreciation of art and music into all endeavors throughout his life.
John was an Eagle Scout and an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hiking, camping and experiencing nature in every way. Love of nature merged with his professional career and resulted in him being a passionate advocate for sustainable living and building design. He was inquisitive, incredibly well-read, and could discuss any topic.
