Sally A. Christ, 88, of Audubon, formerly of Norristown and West Conshohocken, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 24, 2023 with her sisters praying the rosary at her side.

Sally was born on October 13, 1934 in West Conshohocken to Paul and Mary Hasson Christ. She was predeceased by her parents, and her cousin Mary Hasson, with whom she lived for much of her life.

She will be greatly missed by her siblings Alice Voegelin, Helen Getzfread, Molly West and her husband John, Paul “Mickey” Christ, Stephen Christ and Dennis Christ, as well as many nieces and nephews to whom she devoted her life.

Sally was a 1952 graduate of St. Matthew High School, Conshohocken. She worked for 44 years in the Villanova University Bursar’s office, retiring in 1996. While at Villanova, Sally became a loyal basketball fan, so much so that in 1985 she traveled with a group to the Final Four and witnessed their first National Championship.

As a devout Catholic and active member of St. Gertrude Parish in West Conshohocken, and St. Patrick Parish in Norristown, Sally especially enjoyed teaching CCD classes and working on the Christmas Bazaar.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 10:30 AM in St. Matthew's RC Church, 219 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA 19428. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church.

Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Patrician Society, 703 Green Street, Norristown, PA 19401.
