Alice W. (Watson) Dewees, age 82 of Plymouth Meeting, died Wednesday, August 7, 2013 in Einstein Montgomery Medical Center of East Norriton. Wife of William J. Dewees. Born in Gulph Mills, PA on September 21, 1930, daughter of Myrna (Titus) and William J. Watson, Sr. Alice has lived in Plymouth Meeting for the last 50 years, formerly of Cedar Heights, Pa. She worked with Acme Markets at Adams Ave & Blvd. in Philadelphia, then with Strawbridge's of Plymouth Meeting Mall, and retired from Stream Light of Eagleville. She enjoyed baseball especially the Philadelphia "Phillies" as well as cooking, baking, playing Bingo, Camping, Gardening, going to the New Jersey Shore and Atlantic City Casino's and most enjoyed spending her time and talents with her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Light of Lansdale and Connie Brakeman of Plymouth; son, Robert W. (Darlene) Dewees of Trooper; sisters, Janet Van Dyke of Cedar Heights and Olive Mattson of Spring Hill, Fl. Also survived by a loving grandson, Chaz, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Lynn Dewees; 5 brothers, William, Albert, Charles, Madison, & Frank Deewes and 2 sisters, Sarah "Ducky" Thompson & Mazie Watson. Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. Clergy: The Rev. William DeAbbney officiating. Friends may call Monday from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
