I met Carol at Shire. She was an excellent mentor and she always supported her team. She always made me laugh and I was fortunate enough to spend time out of the office with her and her team. We caught up about a year ago and she told me all about the bed and breakfast, she was so excited. My deepest condolences to Joe and her family. Carol was one of those people who sacrificed herself for many others, gone but certainly not forgotten.

I met Carol when I worked at Shire. She always had a beautiful smile and was quick to welcome me. I even had the pleasure of an invitation to her home for a fabulous Christmas party. Although we hadn't seen each other or spoken since Shire days, I have such warm memories hanging out with her. I'm truly saddened by her passing. I send my deepest sympathies to Joe, her furry babies and the rest of her family.

I met Carol 8 years ago during her consultant career with AbbVie. We worked on the same project and had the opportunity to travel to London and Paris together. Carol became one of my best friends and I miss her dearly. She had a big smile and an even bigger heart. She was passionate about her family and friends, and was always available when you needed her to be. Last year, during my business trip in New York, Carol came to see me. This was the last time I saw her in person, we spent an entire night talking about everything and anything. She told me how excited she was for her B&B and the next chapter of her life. I like to remember that night, smiling and laughing over good food and wine. It pains me to think that I won't be able to see her smiling face, or hear her good advice. I give my deepest condolences to Joe, her family, and all her friends. You'll always be in my heart, Carol!

My heart has been heavy with sadness during this past week since I heard that Carol is no longer with us. She was a kind, warm and generous woman who loved to have a good laugh. Although I have only known her a couple of years, we often wondered how our paths had not crossed before then. She was a gem and will be truly missed.

We met Carol in February of 2018 when we arrived at the George Washington Wood Bed & Breakfast to help her open the B&B. Carol's affection for the B & B and her love of her rescue doggies, well that's when we saw Carol her happiest. We're honored to have been a part of the George Washington Wood Bed and Breakfast and heartbroken to hear the news she passed. Good news is we know where her heart is and no doubt, thousands of animals will receive abundant care and life because of Carol's generous gift to animal shelter & rescue organizations. Our sympathy to all who knew and loved her.

My condolences to Joe and to Carols brother and sisters and extended family.
Carol and I met in June of 1985 while working at McNeil Pharmaceuticals. I knew after a few months that Carol would be a lifetime friend, and she was. Of the 35+ years I have known her, we had worked together a total of 28 years at four pharma companies. I never lost touch with her and for that I am extremely grateful. I am very grateful that I got to see her and talk to her a few times recently. I exchanged text messages with her on the evening of December 10; not knowing it would be our last communication. Carol's passing is very sad for those who had the pleasure to know her.

I met Carol so many years ago it’s hard to count. She was a warm, vibrant, smart woman. Although we did not see each other often we shared some wonderful memories. We traveled to Paris together...the city she loved! What a pleasure to have our own personal tour guide to all the really important places...handbags and macaroons! We stayed at her favorite hotel, The Lourve and saw the city in Carol style! Our plan was to visit this past Saturday while I was in town visiting our friend. Sadly, it was not to be...
Rest In Peace, my friend! My deepest sympathies to your beloved Joe and family.

I met Carol in 2005 when we worked at Shire together. I very quickly realized what a beautiful woman she was both inside and out. Carol was very kind, sweet, generous smart and a good friend whom I loved dearly. A beautiful soul. I am having hard time grasping that she is gone. My condolences to Joe and the rest of the family. I will miss her and she will always be in my heart.

I met Carol in 2005 when we worked at Shire together. I am so grateful that we became and remained friends for the last 15 years. After I moved away from the Philadelphia area, whenever I traveled back to Philly for business, I never stayed at a hotel - I stayed at Carol and Joe’s home. Carol and I would stay up late watching re-runs of Big Bang Theory, drink beer, and eat Franzone’s pizza that Joe would order and pick up when he knew my plane had landed. Despite not living near each other, there was hardly a day that we did not talk or text. And when we both traveled for work even after we worked at different companies, and started our own companies, we would coordinate our travel so we could meet up. I’ll miss Carol for the rest of my days. My deepest condolences to Joe, Carol’s sisters and brother, her nieces and nephews, and her amazing friends, who she loved dearly.
