Obituary of Colleen A. D'Annunzio

Colleen A. D'Annunzio

Colleen Ann (Kelly) D’Annunzio,  62,  of Pottstown,  PA  passed away peacefully at home holding the hands of her two children as she took her last breath on March 29, 2024.

She was born in Norristown, PA on January 20, 1962.

Colleen has lived in Pottstown, PA for the last 42 years, formerly of Conshohocken, Pa.

She was a graduate of Archbishop Kennedy High School, Class of 1980.

Colleen was a woman of immense strength. While she had many beautiful moments, she also endured countless struggles throughout her lifetime. Nonetheless, she persisted. Not only did she press on, but through the struggle she came to discover her authentic self and her genuine and unarching faith in Jesus. She had an enormous and compassionate heart. She felt deeply for those who suffered and would befriend, help, or take in any person or creature who she felt needed a home.  She was a nurturer at heart which became ever present in her role as a Nana to her grandchildren. She wanted nothing more out of life than to be with her children and grandchildren. She found delight in lightening the load for her family by doing the simple things like changing diapers, feeding everyone, doing the dishes, packing lunches, and spending quality time. This in its simplest form gave her purpose. She enjoyed making countless memories on her annual family trips to the Jersey shore and the Poconos and taking her trip of a lifetime to Italy. She will forever be remembered for her love for her family, abundant faith, keen fashion sense, fondness for cats, affinity for feeding the birds, passion for cooking, and lastly her larger than life personality, laugh, smile, and humor.  She was an energy that cannot be replicated.

Daughter of William Kelly and Patricia (Golas) Kelly.

Preceded in death by her parents, her brother Joseph Kelly, and her beloved son, Matthew J. D’Annunzio.

She is survived by, Son Gabriel D’Annunzio of Pottstown, PA, (father of Nicholas and Isabella), Daughter Alexandra (& Adam) Pomponio of  Pottstown PA (mother of Lia, Julian, and Eva Pomponio), her Grandchildren:  Nicholas D'Annunzio, Isabella D'Annunzio,  Lia Pomponio, Julian Pomponio, and Eva Pomponio, Brother: Fr.
