Obituary of Catherine Loschiavo

Catherine “Cass” Loschiavo, age 93, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 27th, 1931, the daughter of the late Ralph and Rose (Buffo) Loschiavo.

Cass was a longtime resident of the Roxborough section of Philadelphia before moving to East Norriton, PA in 2010.

Cass worked on the assembly lines at Tastykake and retired after 42 years of service. 

During her lifetime she enjoyed traveling, music, dancing and spending time with friends. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Cass is survived by her brother, Ralph Loschiavo, as well as many nieces and nephews and great/great-nieces and nephews. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Liz (John) Pulle, Dominic (Doree) Loschiavo, Josephine (Jules) DeSimone, John (Louise) Loschiavo, Anna (Bill) Leggieri and Anthony Loschiavo. 

Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401. 

The family will receive guests beginning at 9:30 AM.  A service will start at 10:00 AM. 

Immediately following the service, Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.
