Anthony Francis Cianciulli, Sr. 95, of Norristown, PA passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Thursday, November 7, 2024.

He was born in Bridgeport, PA on April 12, 1929, son of the late Carmen and late Assunta (Pascale) Cianciulli. Anthony fought in the Korean War, then married his wife Anna in 1955 and moved to Norristown where they spent 67 years of married life together until her death in 2022. He was a proud member of the Plymouth Township Lions Club, Sons of Italy, and the Holy Saviour Club.

A successful entrepreneur, Tony took over and ran Norris Sales Company of Norristown then delved into real estate. Tony had a personality that was larger than life and is remembered for his humor and generosity by everyone who came to know him. Tony's favorite things in life were his work (never came home a minute before 5pm even though Briana wanted him to!), playing cards "down the shop" and every other Friday night, watching football (Roll Tide!), and spoiling his granddaughters.

He is survived by his three children: daughter Lorraine (Mark) Timinski of East Norriton, son Anthony Cianciulli, Jr. of Collegeville, and daughter Mary Ann Layfield of East Norriton. He is also survived by his three granddaughters: Briana Layfield, Christie Cianciulli, and Tracy Cianciulli, along with countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Teresa and Josephine, and his brothers Rafaelle, Virginio, Almerico, Vito, and Ernesto.

His viewing will take place Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 8:30am to 9:45am immediately followed by funeral mass at 10:00am. Both viewing and funeral mass will be held at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main Street, Norristown, PA.

Interment will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, PA immediately following the mass.
